Growing to Serve

Proft Vineyards welcomes you to a unique experience of a slower time in Texas.  Off the beaten path near the oldest State Park in Texas there is a gem growing.  With a look frozen in time, the small community of "The Grove" appears to be right out of the late 1800's.  Many weekends of the year you will find bluegrass playing in the saloon or a country dance on the small town square.  The old country store that was owned by my grandfather is now a museum that takes you back to a different time when life was simple and often hard. But beyond this gem of a town there are yet other gems growing.  Here at Proft Vineyards, Zinfandel, Shiraz and Barbera thrive in the limestone rich soils.  Watch as we build this site and offer a virtual visit to "The Grove" .
